Yes. Compatible Stout kegs work with both PerfectDraft Pro and Philips PerfectDraft.
The Stout itself is already nitro-infused in the keg. The difference between the machines is how they provide the appropriate dispense pressure.
PerfectDraft Pro
- Use the dedicated Stout dispense tube with the yellow ring.
- Enable Stout Mode in the PerfectDraft app.
- Serve at 3°C for extra cold, or 7°C for a more traditional stout serve.
Stout Mode adjusts the Pro's pressure to work with the nitro-infused Stout beer and dedicated Stout dispense tube, helping create the cascading effect, fine bubbles and creamy head.
Philips PerfectDraft
Philips PerfectDraft is also ready for Stout.
The machine already operates at a pressure suitable for Stout, so there's no additional mode to switch on.
- Use the dedicated Stout dispense tube with the yellow ring.
- Allow the keg to reach 3°C.
Once your keg is chilled and the Stout dispense tube is fitted, you're ready to pour.
