What do the lights and display on my Philips PerfectDraft mean?

Philips PerfectDraft machines show information in one of two ways, depending on your model.

  • Models with indicator lights, such as the HD3610, HD3715, HD3760 and HD3761, use a coloured light.
  • Models with a display, such as the HD3720 and HD3770, show the temperature, beer level and freshness on screen.

Your model number is on the silver sticker underneath the machine.

If your machine has indicator lights

What you see What it means What to do
Red light The machine is on and needs a keg Install a keg
Orange light The keg is still cooling Wait until it reaches drinking temperature
Green light Your beer is at the right temperature Pour and enjoy
Flashing green light The keg is empty Fit a new keg with a new beer line
Flashing red light The tap unit or beer line isn't placed correctly See below

If your machine has a display

Green or red dash with a flashing yellow-orange background The tap unit and/or beer line isn't placed correctly See below
Green dash and the machine isn't working The tap unit isn't placed correctly See below

If the tap unit or beer line isn't placed correctly

This covers a flashing red light, or a green or red dash with a flashing background.

  1. Remove the keg from the machine.
  2. Check the beer line is properly seated in the tap unit and in the keg.
  3. Remove the tap unit, clean it, and refit it firmly onto the keg.
  4. Put the keg back in and close the door.
  5. Check whether the light or dash has cleared.

If that doesn't help, try another keg with a new beer line.

If the light or dash is still showing after trying another keg with a new beer line, please contact PerfectDraft Philips support directly. Have this information ready:

  • your machine model
  • what colour light or dash you can see, and whether it's flashing
  • what you have already tried
  • a photo of the display or light, if possible
