When you first insert a keg, you may notice a spinning icon on the display. This is normal.
It means the machine is calculating the keg’s temperature. During this time, you can still connect your machine and, if the keg is already chilled, you can pour a beer.
The time it takes to show a temperature reading depends on the difference between:
- The keg’s starting temperature
- The internal temperature of the machine
If you insert a pre-chilled keg into a machine that has already been running for a few hours, you may see a temperature reading in less than 15 minutes.
If the keg is at room temperature, the calculation can take longer — in some cases up to one hour after closing the door.
Once the temperature is calculated, the display will update automatically.
