If the volume shown on your machine does not seem correct, there are a few simple checks that usually resolve it.
- Pour a beer
- When a new keg is installed, the volume may not update immediately.
- Pouring your first beer often activates the calculation. Make sure you pull the tap handle fully down in one smooth motion.
- Check the keg connection
- Ensure the keg and tap unit are securely fitted. A loose connection can affect pressure and volume readings.
- Clean the machine
- Build-up or residue can sometimes interfere with performance. Clean the tap unit and visible components according to the user manual.
- Reset the machine
- Unplug the machine, wait a few minutes, then plug it back in. This can reset the display.
If you have PerfectDraft Pro:
Volume on PerfectDraft Pro is calculated based on dispense pressure. Please note:
- The system has an approximate ±300 ml margin of error.
- The volume is not calculated immediately when a keg is inserted, but after the first pressurisation attempt (usually after the first pour).
- Opening and closing the door during a keg cycle can reset the calculation and may affect accuracy. Avoid opening the door unless changing the keg.
- If the power is interrupted or the machine is reinstalled, the volume reading may need time to stabilise again.
- If the machine disconnects and reconnects after a keg is loaded, the 30-day freshness counter will reset automatically.
If the volume or temperature shown on the app differs from the display:
- A stable white light means the machine is connected.
- Any other colour indicates it has disconnected and needs to be reconnected.
