Setting up your PerfectDraft machine only takes a few simple steps, so you'll be ready to enjoy perfectly chilled beer at home in no time.

Step by step instructions:
1. Position the machine
- Leave at least 10 cm of space around the back and sides for airflow.
- Keep away from enclosed cabinets, direct sunlight, and heat sources like ovens or radiators.
2. Assemble the external parts
- Fit the tap handle to the tap unit
- Attach the medallion
- Place the drip tray
3. Plug in and switch on
- Connect to power and turn the machine on
4. Prepare the keg and tap unit
- Rinse the tap unit with warm water and towel dry fully
- Remove the plastic protective cap on the keg
- Take the plastic tube out from its plastic packaging
5. Attach the tap unit and beer line
- Press the tap unit firmly onto the keg until you hear two clicks
- Insert the plastic tube (beer line) into the tap unit opening, then press the other end into the keg until it clicks
6. Insert the keg
- Place the keg and tap unit into the machine and close the door securely
7. Let the keg cool fully before pouring
- The keg must fully cool before serving for the best experience
- Estimated cooling times depend on your machine:
| Room temp keg (~23°C) – Philips | Up to 12 hours |
| Room temp keg (~23°C) – Pro | Up to 10 hours |
| Pre-chilled keg (~7°C) | ~3 hours |
💡 Tip: Pre-chill your keg for at least 12 hours for the fastest results.
