PerfectDraft Keg - Flat Beer

Modified on Tue, 28 Mar, 2023 at 2:26 PM

One possible reason for a flat beer is the temperature. If the beer hasn't yet cooled to 3 degrees (or the recommended serving temperature for Pro users), the beer can appear flat. So, the first thing you should do is make sure your PerfectDraft machine is set to the correct temperature. Pro users can check the PerfectDraft website/app for specific temperature recommendations for your chosen beer, otherwise the machine will auto-cool to 3 degrees.

Assuming that the temperature is not the issue, you should follow the PerfectDraft pouring guidelines carefully. This includes using the correct glass, tilting it at a 45-degree angle, and pulling the handle down fully to create a steady flow of beer. If you're not sure about the pouring guidelines, check the user manual or watch one of our tutorial videos.

PerfectDraft pours may seem less "gassy" than a pub pour, but that doesn't mean the beer is flat.

If you've followed the pouring guidelines and still suspect that there is an issue with your beer, don't hesitate to contact the PerfectDraft customer service team. They will be able to provide further advice and support, and can arrange for a replacement keg or a refund if necessary.

Remember, the key to enjoying a perfect pint of beer from your PerfectDraft machine is to ensure that the temperature and pouring guidelines are followed correctly. If you do suspect that there is an issue, don't hesitate to reach out to the customer service team for assistance.
